Awesome, this is indeed the oldest open feature request on the sourceforge
tracker!
Works fine here for me (on Windows 7), I'm just wondering whether that
drop-down selector should be deactivated (greyed out) when the plot style is
points or similar, i.e. something where the line pattern doesn't apply.
Yes, that should happen; it's now arranged in git.
