[switching to devel list for this follow-up]

A determined geek could get gretlcli running on just about any
modern device (from raspberry pi on up, and including ARM). But the
GUI is another matter, for two reasons: (1) gtk is not available for
(and/or would not be permitted on) the devices one might want to
target,
I took this for granted but I am having second thoughts about this.
For example, it looks as if Debian's "armhf" port for ARM contains also
the gtk packages, no? (This is my prima facie evidence:
http://packages.debian.org/jessie/armhf/libgtk-3-0/download)
Also interesting is last month's announcement of the new Fedora version
(
http://www.redhat.com/about/news/press-archive/2013/12/fedora-20-now-avai...):
"Support for ARM
As part of Fedora’s commitment to leading edge open innovation, ARM is
now supported as a primary architecture."
And it looks as if standard desktop graphical stuff comes with it, if
you look at the names of these images:
http://mirror2.hs-esslingen.de/fedora/linux/releases/20/Images/armhfp/
And technically different, then there seem to be some more or less
virtual solutions running on top of Android:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1868377
http://linuxonandroid.org/complete-linux-installer-updated-to-v2-7/
So is it no longer true that "gtk is not available for the devices" or
what am I missing?
Thanks,
