I haven't had time to pin down the bug yet, but I suspect it may
have to do with the 'resample' changes that were introduced in
1.7.4. I'm using the resample command with matrices (well, the

I don't think the resample changes in 1.7.4 touched the case of
matrices (where the dataset is not actually messed with).
This shouldn't be a platform-specific thing, so info derived from
running on Windows should be sufficient.
