Earlier this summer Sven and I noticed that the documentation and
scripts we made available for building gretl on Windows, starting in
2017, has been subject to significant bit-rot. Not too surprising
since software tends to move along quite fast. Anyway, anyone who's
interested can now find updated materials at
https://gretl.sourceforge.net/winbuild/
I've tested on Windows 11 with current MSYS2 and I could make an "own
use" build that worked OK. I haven't yet tried to make a
redistributable package. If anyone else is able to do some testing
that would be appreciated!
