The "$" terms that aren't syntax-highlighted fall into two internal
categories, built-in constants (other than strings) and built-in
strings. The built-in constants will be highlighted in 1.10.2, but
getting the strings highlighted will require some refactoring of the
code so I'm going to postpone that for the moment.
