To make it worthwhile to d/l and recompile the sources, yes.
Well, apart from such things as translation updates (the .po files)
perhaps. Those are not really in C, but to see the effects you would
need to compile everything, AFAICS.
But probably not very relevant for Peter and other English native speakers.
