2.1 is the current version of gig in CVS, so "2.2" must be an
error in the pdf file.
It is, my mistake. I had planned to do some more work on gig, but then
couldn't find time for it and I just ended up doing some work on
thre manual and very little work on the code; then I forgot to change the
tex \date{} back to 2.1. To be precise, if we had a third digit I believe
the most correct version for what gig is now should be 2.1.2,
2.1 is ok, I guess, but at this point we may well change the spec file and
call the current state of gig 2.2, so that the tex file does not "go back
in time", so to speak. Allin?
