However, I do have one question. I prefer to ensure that the
examples make some kind of econometric sense. Further, it makes
sense to design the examples to make use of standard datasets
that accompany Gretl or can easily be added through the data

that would fit into a stochastic frontier framework. Is it
possible to contribute one or more datasets based on publicly
available data that I could use to illustrate the estimation of
various models with the data?
Yes, surely. If you have a suitable dataset, please send it to me
and I can add it to the distribution. As I mentioned, one
medium-term goal is to allow function packages to include their
own datasets, but in the meantime I'll be happy to do as you
suggest.
