Some LateX to HTML converters work reasonably well for simple text, but even then (in my experience) they can't be left to work unattended; they require human intervention to sort out the finer points. For complex text plus complex mathematics I will eat my proverbial hat if there's a half-way adequate converter. (I don't count PNG pictures of TeX math as half-way adequate.)
