[Gretl-devel] panel-specific variable transformations in the menu?

Hi, in real-life teaching I encountered the situation that we wanted to create the time averages in the context of a panel dataset. I told students to write a command using the pmean() function, but among the stuff we did that was the only thing which couldn't be achieved through the menus. So I'm wondering whether it might be an idea to add those kind of functions to the GUI. Of course the "Add" menu is quite long already, perhaps it would make sense to insert a submenu named "panel transformations" or so, and then holding time averages and perhaps also time maxima etc. ? thanks sven
