I seem to have introduced an encoding issue with the latest de.po

to do with the collision that happened (I tried to commit de.po when in
the meantime all .po (or is .pot in this case?) files were updated by
you; the changes were somehow merged together automatically, I edited
the file again and then committed.)
For the moment I'm rolling CVS back to version 1.152 of de.po, the
most recent uncorrupted version. You may want to keep a back-up
of your latest version and use that to update CVS. But CVS is now
OK (apart from a few missing strings) and I'll make a corrected
Windows snapshot shortly.
