Gretl currently has some basic support for user written add-on
functions, but to be fully functional I think this need to be
improved slightly. This is a work that I think will payoff
fast...
You points are well taken. These are things I have thought of
too, but haven't yet had time to work on. We'll see what we can
do for gretl 1.7.5.
