Hi Guys,
I was reading the recent emails from Arthur and Giuseppe, and it just
occurred to me that it could be very nice and useful if there was a
gretl site at stackexchange. I find their various sites (the LaTeX
site in particular) very useful.
That would be very nice, but I suspect a little impractical, given that
the gretl community is much much smaller than the other "expertise areas"
at stackexchange. It seems to me that the way stackexchange works needs a
much larger number of people hanging around than the present gretl
community. At present, there are a little less that 600 email addresses in
the "users" mailing list (much fewer on gretl-devel), and I suspect most
of them don't even bother reading all the messages. I agree stackexchage
is very useful, though.
