As for the bug-tracking, feature requests, etc, I agree with Cri
that we could do with something more formal at this point.
Further suggestions welcome; for the moment I guess I'll take a
closer look at what SF offers (I checked this out a while ago, but
not recently).
I don't know if you already had a look at
http://savannah.gnu.org (if their
tracking system seems better than the Sourceforge one, I guess we could register
the gretl project there and experiment with it; then maybe shut it down if we're
not satisfied, or move the CVS there if we're satisfied, or just keep using the
CVS on Sourceforge and the BTS on Savannah...).
The trac solution is interesting too, but it requires setting up a web +
subversion server (I don't know if there are providers of free trac services)
and moving from CVS to subversion.
