Perhaps it could be replaced with a "recaptcha"? It's just an opinion. Thanks for sharing your experience. A follow-up question: I think before the new account is valid and usable you would get some feedback "from gretl". Maybe it's a manual step done by Allin, I'm not sure. Do you remember whether that worked alright for you?
