The report is not useless because now we can watch out. Although I have
never experienced this behavior (on win 7 64bit as well), also I'm not
running the very latest snapshot I think. This would of course be a
drastic bug and indeed I'm skeptical if it really exists, but I know the
feeling of reporting hard-to-reproduce bugs...
