I have no problems either, but this is probably not another datapoint,
because this is also on Linux with Cvs.
This was with gretl from two or three days ago CVS on Ubuntu Linux 9.10,
but I have just removed completely and installed again gretl from
current CVS and the problem persists (in Spanish and English gretl). So
I suppose may be a problem with my version of Gnuplot. It is version
4.2.5-2
