Hmm, this is puzzling -- I don't see why there should be any
difference between Linux and Windows in this respect. I'm just
making a new Windows snapshot: could you please see if the problem
is still there with this version? If so, I'll start digging.

I am not at the office today. I tried yesterday in gretl Linux from CVS
(downloaded a week ago aprox) and gretl Windows snapshot downloaded
yesterday. I will try with the new Windows snapshot tomorrow.
