gretl prints the error message:
'Can't make compact model stats table -- the max length translated
string is 39 chars, should be < 23'.
Yes, Alexander is exactly right. I've now put in place a fallback
mechanism: if any of the translated strings for the "compact"
model results table are longer than 22 characters, the table will
look quite bad, so we drop back to printing one statistic per
line. This takes up more space but should not look broken.
