Slightly OT: Artur since you're on Linux AFAIK you could use the option
to run gretl via GTK3 in a single browser window, as some people over
the years have reported. That way you would have all the gretl windows
in one place.
I am not really favoring a single browser window.

Well, starting with syntax highlighting, how would that have to be
specified there?
Definitely it can be configured. But I haven't checked it in detail. But
its definitely not a simple list of key words which are checked or
loaded. A bit more complicated.
My thought about Gedit etc. was that the ingredients might already
exist. I will test.
By the way, if you choose syntax highlighting for "C", the results are
not that bad.
