I hope everybody remembers that my willingness to organize the gretl
conference in 2015 was conditional on a commitment to release gretl 2.0
by then at the latest... Calling it 1.10 instead would be cheating ;-)
A year is a long time in software. There are some other (backward
incompatible) changes in the works that would merit the 2.0 designation.
