Ah OK, that's good to know (apart from the fact that this thread is

There's basically no way that a gretl release can fail to compile.
It's always built for all platforms using the exact code that's
uploaded to sourceforge.
Well, let me qualify that: there's always the possibility of a
compilation problem using a different compiler from the one I use,
or with different configure settings. But a flat-out bug like an
undeclared symbol in common C-space (not specific to a non-standard
compiler or platform): impossible.
