Also: since we plan to shift future development from C to hansl as much
as possible, the upcoming release will also contain a short tutorial for
hansl (available under the "Help" menu). We already incorporated several
valuable suggestions from early readers (whom we thank), but that is
very much work in progress too, so 1.9.99 also means "let's put the
hansl primer into good shape for 1.10".
I hope everybody remembers that my willingness to organize the gretl
conference in 2015 was conditional on a commitment to release gretl 2.0
by then at the latest... Calling it 1.10 instead would be cheating ;-)
