[Gretl-devel] Bug: cannot compile 1.9.90, succeeded with CVS

Dear Allin and Riccardo, Today I tried to compile the official stable version of gretl 1.9.90 that is available at http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/gretl/gretl-1.9.90.tar.xzand encountered the following bug: the ./configure script fails to exit correctly due to the following error: config.status: error: cannot find input file: `doc/commands/Makefile.in' This was confirmed under Ubuntu 14.04 and Debian Jessie on systems that managed to compile 1.9.15 without any hindrance. However, the CVS version (1.9.91) configures, builds and installs perfectly. Please find the reports in the attached file.
