This sounds like a variant of the bug that was fixed in 2016d in the
sort() and dsort() functions.
(Assuming you are using a recent version, 2016d or git/snapshot.)
I can confirm that labels are lost. Marcin, could you put this on the
bug tracker at Sourceforge, so that it isn't forgotten. Allin is
probably busy with the entire nested-parsing-endeavour.
