Hi, while browsing through the function package list, I noticed the packages "bartlett.gfn" and "levene.gfn" written in 2009 by Marcos Larios Santa Rosa. Both test the equality of variances in k groups, see http://www.itl.nist.gov/div898/handbook//eda/section3/eda35a.htm and http://www.itl.nist.gov/div898/handbook//eda/section3/eda357.htm for some background. The topic seems to fit well into the GUI menu area Tools/Test statistic calculator, where gretl already has tests for mean, variance, 2 variances and so forth. The idea would be to add another tab there that provides the calculations of Marcos' packages. A related question --given my ignorance-- is how to actually perform all the stuff in that GUI window via hansl script? Thanks, sven
