Another important thing: if any of you out there is using home-written C
programs which link to libgretl, there are very high chances that your
program will not work anymore with the version of libgretl which is now in
CVS.
Thanks, Jack, I should have mentioned that. In the next
release we'll change the major number of the gretl library to
reflect the API/ABI change, and will update the API
documentation on sourceforge.
In the meantime, third-party users of libgretl will want to
stick to the 1.9.5 source release, or CVS prior to 2011-07-11.
Sorry if this causes inconvenience, but the new gretl API will
be nicer to use.
