I guess I will file a bug report with Miktex about that.
Done
(on github); let's see what happens there.
The default formatting choices surely can be improved, to be honest;
especially in the black&white (non-color) variant. Some updates to the
language specification and definitions are also needed. I'm trying to
get in contact with the package maintainer about that. I might get
back to you guys for some help on the LaTeX formatting side. Let's see.
OK, so here's a call for advice. My idea is to imitate the various
syntax-coloring styles that gretl's built-in script editor provides.
Here on Windows the available highlighting schemes are:
build, classic, cobalt, darkslate, espresso, kate, oblivion, tango
So can you guys tell me the names of the colors that are used in these
respective schemes? Or more precisely, I know about the xml files like
.../gretl/gtksourceview/tango.xml that seem to hold the color
definitions. However, it's not obvious to me which are the most relevant
entries. For example, to get the highlighting color of a hansl function
like log() I would have to look for which entry there?
And if there are matching names for the 'xcolor' LaTeX package which
will be used in the background, that would also be great. If not, I
guess they can be specifically defined using the RGB value.
thanks
