Hi, I've hacked up a patch to have correlograms with thicker lines (IMHO more readable), following the example I found at http://t16web.lanl.gov/Kawano/gnuplot/plot5-e.html#5.15 It works for me, but I'm not really sure if it's the proper way to implement it, so please have a look at the patch, if you think it's worth to accept it.
