The schema ids files should be provided by
the "gsettings-desktop-schemas" package. Is that package installed?
Thanks, Jack
You can verify via
dpkg -l gsettings-desktop-schemas
This says no matches found.
apt show gsettings-desktop-schemas
while this prints output which leaves me unsure.
But then I installed the package, so obviously it wasn't there before.
Afterwards it (=the GUI program gretl/gretl_x11) runs OK.
But doesn't that mean that the Debian guys need to mark
gsettings-desktop-schemas as a dependency? Or is it because gretlcli
doesn't need it that it's considered not strictly necessary?
thanks
