Ok! It worked just fine!
It was a bug alright, but "saving a session" where
you've done
nothing but run a script seems odd: in effect your session is
already saved, in the form of the script file itself. I'm
thinking maybe we should not offer the option of saving a session
file under these circumstances.
I wouldn't like to see this option away from gretl. For me it is very useful
because sometimes I need to share my sessions with another users (I'm trying
to convince my company to use gretl instead of EViews), so, because they
aren't familiar to gretl (and script files), I need to "transform" my
".inp"
files into ".gretl" files.
