Which "mode" are you in when the printing of a matrix just by name
fails? (That is, using "run" in the gretl console, or executing a
script directly, or calling a function package via the GUI, or...)

Sorry, I didn't know that it's a German-only issue.
I did mention that before, but I guess the information got lost
among various other things.
one more thing :-) -- could it be that the 'run' command is
echoed even with echo off?
