Just one more point: what do you think about a new command to install packages using
command line?

Ah, I see. Nothing to do with almonreg in particular: it's yet another instance of
the decimal comma versus dot, this time in reading a function package version number.
That's now fixed in CVS and snapshots. Thanks, I'm glad you found that bug.
