I'm guessing I need to use "\%d.gp" since I'm on Windows (7), but
that's not all that's going on. This is with Gretl 1.9.92 cvs.
Whoops, no, sorry, here I'm using the new fanfgled incarnation of sprintf
which was introduced (I believe) a few weeks ago. I guess my script needs
current CVS or snapshot in order to work. Or you may modify the call to
sprintf.
