I don't think this is a gretl issue. Try googling "gtk3 wayland drag
and drop" for a number of problem reports. At least you should be
using the very latest gtk3, but even then it could be "work in
progress" on the gtk side.
(I for one am not at all ready to discard Xorg's X11 implementation in
favor of Wayland. X11 is old, stable and extremely well tested.
Wayland, not so much.)
Well, that's what I supposed.
If I find working workaround I will post it.
