Can you please describe the reasons why you request this?
If it is a matter of language, we may consider having a revised text
following the "Acordo Ortográfico", and adapting names to Brazilian words.
Dear Hélio, I was thinking about a Brazilian webpage due to the several
differences between them and the European variant. Some words are completely
different. Some examples:
File:
Arquivo (Brazil)
Ficheiro (Portugal)
View:
Visualizar (Brazil)
Visionar (Portugal)
Furthermore, we have a lot of expressions that are different between the two
variants.
I am in favor of a single Portuguese variant.
Also for the maintenance of the pages it is better to have a single
language.
Ok, no problem ;) If you prefer we can try to improve the "compatibilty"
between Brazilian and European variants on Gretl website.
Just one more thing: Is there anyone else who speaks Portuguese in this
list?
"Abraços",
Henrique
