[Gretl-devel] crash

Hi, I have a reproducible crash (on gretl 1.8.6, but don't know if the cause was recently introduced or not). It happens when you call the main function in the attached function package with the same series in the first and second arguments (target and cause), like so: # in the context of denmark.gdt matrix check = BreitungCandelonTest(LRM,LRM,null,3,100,0.05) This is of course rubbish, but gretl shouldn't crash. (not a freeze, but windows disappear). I will update the function package to check for such bad input and then upload the new version to the server. So for testing use the package attached to this email, not the one that will soon be on the server. thanks, sven
