Fair point: the use of a special comment in this context is ad hoc and
potentially fragile. Another possibility would be to make "no-print" a
property of a packaged function that can be set via the package's .spec file
(and preferably also via the function-packager GUI).
You can now (CVS) do this via a package's .spec file. The
syntax is
no-print = <funclist>
where <funclist> is a space-separated list of names of
(public) functions that should be given the "no-print"
attribute. You can't yet do this via the GUI.
