OK, thanks for trying. Is this with the 32-bit Windows build, or
64-bit? And one more thing: could you try running gretl with the
--debug option? You can create a desktop launcher, but instead of
just
drive:\path-to\gretl.exe
make the target
drive:\pathto\gretl.exe --debug
Then we might learn a little more about the problem in the console
window that will open.
