spam on bug tracker

Hi,
during the last couple of days some automatically generated spam was
dumped into some bug reports in the tracker.
It looks as though the time has come that anonymous posting or
commenting of bugs might have to be disabled. Or are there any other
solutions?
In any case, AFAIK the disabling would have to be done by Allin, I don't
have the necessary admin status.

gui arima crash

Hi,
during teaching sessions I experienced some crashes (freezes, lockups,
infinite loops, whatever) when trying to specify ARIMA models using the
wrong syntax in the GUI.
Namely, when specifying the first and third AR lags as '1;3' or '{1 3}'
in the text field (without enclosing quotes), gretl apparently crashes.
I am now aware that both variants are wrong, but nevertheless gretl
shouldn't crash.
And a minor thing, when I tried '1, 3' gretl just ignored and didn't
include the third …
[View More]lag. I think that was with the comma being set as the
decimal separator in gretl.
All in all, I guess some more parsing checks of those input fields
wouldn't hurt. But apart from that I really liked the ARIMA GUI
interface (I haven't seen it before because I usually don't do ARIMA).

sourceforge tracker

Hi,
I've noticed that sourceforge is advertising a new tracker. Does anybody
know what that is about? Is it "just" the interface, or are there new
features? Any reason not to switch over?

Bug in 3D plot, very low graphic resolution

Hi,
In a 3D plot the lines are too thick and text is hard to read. The
coordinates status and plot rotation is working fine.
I am using CVS Gretl in OpenSuSE 10.2 and,
>gnuplot --version
gnuplot 4.3 patchlevel 0
