Hmm, not sure but I'll look into it. Maybe has something to do with the
fact that the FEP package includes a data file? (Though that shouldn't
in itself have the effect described.)
It looks as if upgrading to the latest snapshot solved the problem! (I
had a slightly older snapshot before.)
