That's right. What I meant is that --while it's clear that 64bit is not
per se better than 32bit-- some things seem to be faster on 64bit, for
example the RNG testing stuff that I did for the paper with Talha. So in
the medium to long term one will want to have a 64bit gretl on Windows,
too, I guess.
Ergo, I'm not going to mess with this until somebody makes a
convincing case that it's a necessity.
Seems like a wise decision -- "necessity not it is" to mimic another
wise character.
