No. But gnuplot supports the fairly closely related "rug plot" -- see
http://gnuplot.sourceforge.net/demo/rugplot.html -- and we could add
that to our repertoire without much difficuly.
Not really related, but if you're into this sort of things, you might like
the "kddensity" function package.
