We might as well try to get it right. I don't want to discourage
anyone from using the command-line, even on Windows!
There's a new attempt at fixing the problem in current CVS and
snapshots.
(Reminder: the problem is that in the Windows console, translated
output is coming out wrongly encoded for the case of Portuguese -- and
presumably also for other languages.)
