peronally don't remember anything about it. Allin, what do you
think we should do?
This must have got lost at some point. I've reinstated the
intended function (namely forcing use of the decimal point in
a locale where this would not be the default). And I've amended
the documentation accordingly.
Your other points are well taken but I haven't attempted to do
anything about them yet.
