I'd tested on my Macintosh (running OS X Leopard) and the only
languages that are working fine are the English and the Brazilian
Portuguese.
Ack, OS X is one of the silly OSes that insists that the LANGUAGE
variable must be set before any translation happens (LANG and
setlocale are apparently not enough!). I've made a change in CVS
that should help, and put up a new OS X snapshot.
