I tried to reproduce your problem here on Debian (and I spent quite a long
time wondering what was wrong with your example before I realised I hadn't
the "moments" R library installed. Oh well).
If you could apply the attached patch to current git (which just includes
a few debugging printouts) and re-run your script, maybe we could have a
better idea of what's going on.
