Yes, thanks.
First of all, now it seems that gretl it is more sensitive to the
wrong
presence of semicolons.
Yes, that's really a bug-fix. We shouldn't allow stray
elements in commands or function calls that don't conform to
the stated syntax.
I know that in gretl the semicolon at the end of the line are
useless,
but anyway I had some of them in the function and gretl worked well.
With the new version gretl crashes.
"Crashes"? Do you mean that execution of the script is aborted
(that's intended) or that gretl itself is terminated by the
operating system (if that's happening it's definitely not
intended).
Another thing. Reviewing the function I noted that if I want see the
code of the function from the button "view code" of the function menu
I can see the command of gretl with different colors. But when I go to
the button "Edit" and after to "Edit function code" the commands of
gretl are not different colored.
OK, I see that: it's not intentional and should be easy to
fix.
The last thing. I can't download the add-on SVAR from the
command
"Check for addons" in the main menu of gretl I get this message:
"Couldn't find SVAR for gretl 1.9.6"
OK, I'll look into that; sounds like a script problem on the
sourceforge site.
