I won't make any catty remark ;-)
The only minor caveat I feel like expressing is that some people
might find
the new functions a little unintuitive, se we need to document them well,
with as many examples as we can.
Agreed. The new functions need proper documentation with examples.
Maybe we even want a short Guide chapter on the topic.
