is there still time to do last-minute translation updates, or is
1.10.2(?) already frozen/closed?

Working on it (it's not much, getting the cvs checkout working and up to
date was the most time-consuming part of it) I noticed an entry:
***, **, * indicate significance at the 1%, 5%, 10% levels\n
and I'm wondering that the "%" signs are not escaped ("%%" or
"\%"?). Is
this ok for the po-machinery?

Ok, de.po is updated and committed. Could only do very rudimentary
testing, i.e. I don't think I triggered the newly translated strings.
I'm relatively confident though given that the changes were small.

They're not escaped because they're not part of a "printf" format;
the string is just a plain literal.
